Use - Paint pigment

Formula - Na4MnP2O7

Chemical Name - Ammonium mangenese phosphate

Structure - n/a

Synthesis - React a mixture of phosphoric acid, ammonium dihydgrogen orthophosphate and manganese oxide at <236°C.

Interesting Facts - Also used to colour cosmetics eg: mascara, eye shadow, lipstick and nail varnish. Manganese violet is also used to colour plastics.
